stolen bike.

came back from a night ride last night about 2.30, busting for the loo, so disc lock on steering lock on, alarm set; I dash in, stick the kettle one and wander out half an hour later.....

It's gone...., yep the superduke was stolen, didn't hear a thing, whilst traffic is always a background noise (no matter what time) the alarm or engine starting would have been loud, but not a peep was heard and all within 30 minutes. I'd been riding through the rain and pulled up with wet tyres so tracks lead to my parking spot, but none lead away, no sign of busted locks or debris, even my bungied bag on the pillion seat was gone (flask, waterproofs odds and ends in it).

I doubt it'll ever be seen again, but if anyone sees an black KTM superduke with a bright red Aprillia front wheel let me know, Oh the reg is HF08 UEL (Yes if you take the numbers out and first letter it spells "fuel").

Cheers Mark.

Well that sucks :(

Gutted for you, I hope their balls rot away slowly with maximum pain.

Obviously a van pick then? Seems to be the way lately, unless it's chained to an anchor, no alarm or lock is gonna stop them, just pick it up, lay it down on the mattress they have in the back.

Anyone got CCTV in your street?

Re: stolen bike.

it's normally chained to the iron drain in the road, but not at that moment it wasn't...:smt102, and no cctv coverage either.
