Dunno about everybody else, but I've just got back. Knackered and soaking! Dumping all my stuff and crawling to bed

I'm home and feeling a hell of a lot better now I've had a shower and a cup of tea. Cheers to Phil for finally making himself useful and organising an epic trip to France. The weather did its best to spoil our fun but it takes more than a little water to ruin a carnage ride.

Again?! I suppose we did have that diversion that added 20miles of pointless up and down the m40.

We got back about 1.20.

Worst ride I've ever experienced, the m40 slip was closed and the ****s decided to add 21 miles back the other direction and back when I could've just come through Bicester, that really ****ed me off.

I was on auto pilot at the end and was struggling for concentration, lightning lighting up the sky on the m40 too.

Later dudes.

Aye me and Dave had that diversion aswell, just jumped on the M40 without thinking how far away the next junction was. Ah well.

Home! Pulled up at 1:35

Really bizarre night. First the two bikes getting broken, dropped on the boat.

Then I completely missed the A34 turn off the M3 following Phil so ended up at the M3 services with Raving Davis (thought that fuel up would get me home), then doubled back to the A34.

The got the M40 with the closed slip road - took a diversion which seemed completely different to the one everyone else took when I saw them.

Missed the island to the M40 north, then saw the entrance to Cherwell Valley and turned round back to the first island - By complete chance see a bike coming to the left and slow down, oh it's Dan, oh and Dave, oh and Gaz. (assuming this was their diversion but from a different direction that I came). Pull up to say hello. 5 minutes later there comes Phil and Clair - from the same direction - (not quite sure how I got in front of you without passing on the A34 as I would have started miles behind??)

Decided I didn't want to stop, and spanked it up the M40, sign says 10miles to M42 = 11 minutes. Challenge accepted - Challenge obliterated! Unfortunately then the fuel light came on (must have been wringing it a bit more than I thought) so had to come off at Shirley and search out fuel at 1AM. (120 miles brimmed to light isn't usual for me).

Pretty uneventful after that although I have never been so glad to see the M6, even if it did have roadworks.

Odd night, probably one of the worst nights riding I've ever been on what with the rain, some of the worst winds I've seen in England and all the diversions. All in all I think I've met-up with about 3 different groups of us, all heading to different parts of the country.

I haven't had time to check the small penis thread because I'm too tired - but lets just say Maiming Dasies had better watch out in future. I won't forget that one in a hurry.
