Hip armour, which way round?
Haha, I feel like a right muppet asking this, but here goes :)
I've just bought a one-piece suit from ebay, and it came with the hip armour fitted as shown in the pics, but I'm not sure if it's the right way round or not as it seems to sit too far at the front of the leg, if you see what I mean? Ta :) http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...g?t=1335963232 |
Re: Hip armour, which way round?
Oh lordy no, they should be inside the suit ;)

Re: Hip armour, which way round?
Had a quick rummage on my textiles, mine are in that way.
Could possibly PM Janyeflakes as she's got a akito suit |
Re: Hip armour, which way round?
Actually I'm not even sure it's hip armour, more like thigh armour? I just tried it in the other way round and it's not any worse...
I might try PMing JayneFlakes if she doesn't reply on here, but I think she has a 2 piece suit, same as my other one, which doesn't have this armour. Cheers, will try Google again, lol! |
Re: Hip armour, which way round?
Post a picture of your naked midriff and your hips, then we'll be able to see your shape and advise you a bit better ;-)

Re: Hip armour, which way round?
From memory (I used to work as an Akito sales rep) they go in the other way to how they appear in your photo so the curve follows your hip and upper leg when you're sitting.
If you can't get on with them then bin them and fit Hein Gericke Hiprotec rubber hip armour, it is far more comfortable and made to a much higher level of CE approval (safety standard) |
