Seat reupholstery orgpinions?
 

Hello all, I managed to pick up a gel seat for my curvy nice & cheap because it's got some sewn up rips on it. I was going to get it reupholstered but it's occurred to me that as nice as the style already is I don't have to have it done the same. So any suggestions on something different from the standard?

We'll you're lucky its ripped, because the standard cover acts like a sponge when it rains and holds water. Its pants

There were some quite nice SV covers on Ebay, but otherwise send it to Tony Archer and get it covered in something similar to the normal non gel sv seat

I can't believe I didn't think of looking on eBay after buying it from there :rolleyes: seems wrong to have to pay more for the cover than I did for the seat but that tears going to annoy me & it would look so much nicer.

Cool. My seat on my 99 curvey is looking a bit worse for wear. All black cover with the SV logo would be great.

That's what I've ended up ordering, I'll put a photo up when I'm done. The YouTube vids make it look soo easy to do, we'll see about that
