Which brake pads ZX6 track bike?
 

Ok noob question but which one of these would you recommend for my track bike?

All I know about brakes is the sintered pads can sometimes feck up your discs, oh and that i'd like more of them :D

personally id go with the sinters

the sinter pads will be better from the off they require little heating and are consistent, the carbon are better, however take a while to build up heat and until then will lack feel, generally the carbon are matched with discs as wear can be a problem, be honest with yourself, are you good enough to use the difference?

Nope! Don't fancy the idea of the carbon pads on a wet trackday either so I'll go with the sintered

I use the race sintered SBS pads for racing and track days. On my 4th set now and love them. They bed in almost instantly, work brilliant in all weather and are easy on discs. Only downside is wear rate but I am quite heavy on late braking so that could be my fault plus an old srad is a heavy old bus to haul up. I get them of a seller on ebay called dusty100bikes for £47.99(2 front sets) inc delivery.

I was using the dual carbon ones for some years. They're dead when cold but a few squeezes and they're working. They're good when hot and fade-free, in fact the more you use them the better. Not sure about the wet though, I think I'd go for sintered though unless you're braking like a maniac for about 50% of the miles you do.
