Ktec Front Fork Springs 0.8

Taken from my curvey, I have put Race Tec springs in for my heavy ar*e. They are supplied in my race tec box. £50 inc p&p.

These any good for a K9 for a fat *******? Lets just say over 16 stone.

I'd like to say yes....but no. Think you'll need heavier springs.

maybe it's worth detailing which version they fit (both pointy and curvy?) and what weight they would be ideal for.

the KTec site lacks any information like this.

Thanks for the advice fozzy, I did make mention that they have been taken from a curvy.I am led to believe they would fit a pointy but don't have confirmation of that, hence why I didn't mention pointy. I am also unsure of the ideal weight, all I know is they are too soft for 15st.
The stock springs in the bike are the equivalent of 0.72 which was designed for the optimum sv rider of 9stone.

Re: Ktec Front Fork Springs 0.8

Just a bit of help maybe, I have ktech 0.85 in my curvey. I'm 12st and they are about right for me. I'd suggest 0.8 will be ideal for 10-11st, OK for 12st but I reckon that's about the limit really. Having said that they'll be better than the stock ones for almost any rider weight. HTH

Be an improvement for any rider, especially at that price.

They should fit pointy or curvy just use different spacer tube.

I can't see any issues with everyday use, better front end feel. They came out of a 2000 curvy so the spacers and springs should fit straight in
