Front tyre cracking

Evening all.

Put a supercorsa on a month or so ago (cheap scrub) and in the past week or so it has started cracking in the centre and dow the tread lines. I ride everyday in all weathers and i think the rain or low temp due to rain might be the problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Bike is stored in garage overnight so not too cold. Tyre still seems grippy but dont know wether damage is superficial or could cause a blow out.

Any help or advice would much appreciated?

An ex race or trackday tyre?

If yes then the tyre has been heat cycled at very high temps and the more fluid constituents of the rubber's compound have leached away and left the rubber brittle.

Yes ex-race tyre i think. Was fine in the sunshine a few weeks back gripping really well. Is the tyre totally fudged or will it still give good grip in dry ideal conditions? This happened with a dunlop d211 gp i had aswell which was used at nurburg and ridden through winter. Problem is i ride in all weathers and like grippy tyres. O well, thanks for the reply :) much appreciated.

If you ride in all weather then you need a sport touring tyre

They are known to crack if fitted in low temperatures, new they come with a warning label.
