Samsung Galaxy II/III or not?
 

Currently I have a iPhone4 which is a bag of poop for me but I'm considering buying a Samsung Galaxy S 2 OR 3.
I need to fix my home button which will cost me next to nothing and sell it I should get around £220 for it off EnviroPhone which I always use.

Debating the Samsung but is it better for me to buy the 2 PAYG or 3 on contract which is £36 a month with 300min, 3000texts, 1GB Internet...

Worth it?

is it a case of selling the iphone to get a phone that does the exact same thing? if so, why go through the hassle of changing phones

Because the samsung is better (my view). I have the 2 is great phone, played with the 3 even better than the 2. I will see out my contract and wait for the new one next year.

There is a similar thread at the moment can't remember the exact name.

I dI'd a post about the S3. Get it. Its amazing.

Comparing the S2 with the S3, the S3 is so much better with Android 4.0.4, bigger and better screen and faster.

But the size of these things is getting out of hand.
cant get my S2 in my leather jacket pocket

3 do the one plan with 2000 mins to anyone, 3000 extra to other 3 customers... couple thousand texts and REAL unlimted data for 35 quid... I do a few gb a week and data is damn fast. On my s2 its a perfect combo so the extra power and screen must be brill on the s3.

I've got the Galaxy 2 and it is a very good phone, though it does tend to get quite slow at times which is annoying. Definitely better than the iPhone 4, but I'd probably rather have a 4s.

Haven't tried the Galaxy 3 personally but I've heard it's an incredible phone.. so I'd say go for that!

S2 now come with Android V4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) well mine did that I got through Vodafone. Earlier models came with Gingerbread (v2.4 i think)

The S2 is cheap to buy.
It does all i need.
mail.sat nav.
The org posting .
E bay.
Camera.
Music.
The S3 is an unnessasry £174 pa.

I've had an S2 for a while now, not regretted for one moment, and been more than smug about it every time I've picked up somebody elses heavy, little screened, brick proportioned, iPhone.
