worth having? is it difficult to get it fitted? expensive? |
Re: ABS worth having?
yes-yes and yes------------a lot of new bikes have that and combined braking as an option when buying but it would be expensive to retro fit.

Re: ABS worth having?
Hi Agy,
we've just had a fairly lengthy discussion about this here. Probably worth seeing the arguments over it in there :) Edit: Dicky Ticker's right, retro-fitting this is not straight forward. Jambo |

Useful to have, yes. If I was buying a new bike I'd have it if it was an option. But nothing I own has it and I'm happy riding in all conditions :) Jambo |
Re: ABS worth having?
As mentioned, there has been a fairly lengthy and sometimes heated discussion about ABS on the other thread involving people who are far cleverer than I, some who have experience of bike ABS and some who do not.
I've had a near miss saved by it and, because of that, would recommend it to all, from the inexperienced riders to the experts. It may be an extra cost option on your next bike but i'd say choose it if you can. It's only money. |
Re: ABS worth having?
