Why do women?

Feel the need to move things.

The wife has decided to swap round living/dining areas. So feed to STB has to be repositioned. This means I have to crawl through the sub floor dragging cable. A horrid nasty job. She, Oh I thought it was a simple job to move the wire. In the past I had a splitter in line to feed multiple boxes. But when we went with the telewest service the splitter losses were too much and I need to connect directly.

In the past she has moved the bedroom around whilst I have been on the lash. Considerate me comes in strips in the dark and jumps into bed. Ouch bed on the other side of the room as I crack my head on a chair and my back hits the floor at 9.81m/s2

She regularly bundles stuff into bags or whatever and stuffs them away somewhere. She still doesn't know where she 'put away' our paper shredder and I kinda need about now...

I suppose worst was when daughter no 1 moved my bike keys the day before she went on holiday.

3 weeks before I could play out. She had put them in a mug in a kitchen cupboard as she didn't think it safe for me to have left them on the worktop

Because we can...I have to admit, my mother is the worlds worst for it! She's always at it!

Hahahaha. I know this pain. Not quite the same as rearranging, but my mrs is obsessed with tidying just before friends come round. In fact, we just had a mini argument now because I didn't wash up a few plates which are by the sink, which of course would DESTROY her credibility with her friends and cause her EXTERNAL embarrassment. I know that whenever I go round people's houses, if I see a few dirty plates I will definitely shun them, call them gutter trash, and burn their house down before I leave.

Anyway, I digress. She goes on a mad tidying rampage, and by tidying I mean picking up all my items and putting them in random cupboards and draws, and basically stuffing them anywhere she can so at least the place looks tidy. I then have great fun wasting hours of my day trying to find things that have mysteriously vanished from the place I last put them.

I'm thinking about some sort of cheap GPS system for everything I own. Any ideas?

yeah just for the record, ramming all the clutter into cupboards and draws isn't tidying. It's plain stupid and lacking in logic :) atleast women are consistent like that.

 Today during the Mrs "Cleaning drive" she managed to rip the kitchen net curtain down. Rather than leaving it for me to put back up, she put it away in the cupboard under the stairs.

Luckily I managed to stop myself from trying to understand why. I simply accepted it, in the same way you accept a dog will chase it's tail, and fly will try and translocate through a window.
