Holding down bike cover in the wind?

How do you guys stop the wind getting under your bike cover? Mine is just about lifting off the bike. Don't really have a lot of stuff here like rope etc because we are in the middle of moving house and only here for 2 weeks.

Tried to search but it's not easy on tapatalk with a 1 bar 2G signal

Cheers

A brick of each side....?

Mine have either come with a string or male and female clips underneath so not had this problem

bungee cords normally.

+1 for the bungee cord solution.

I also used some strong bulldog clips to secure my first cheap cover underneath the bike. Later traded up to an Oxford Stormex cover which has proved to be brilliant and use a set of bungee cords through the built in eyelets at each wheel. Has stood up to 70mph gusts with no problem.

Another for bungee chords mine has holes that have metal rings riveted in so allow bunnies to go through them and not rip the cover.

Bungee cord strapped around the side stand

simple.. don't use a cover. mine has sat outside for the past 3 months without one and has done no harm. problems with covers is that they rub your paintwork so you end up having to put a blanket over the bike which get soaked.

leave the bike to the elements.

Found a couple of metal rings on the bottom so I've tied them under the bike with string. Should stop the wind getting in. :)
I've hardly ever used it before and didn't know they were there

Bib the cover is to kind of hide it as well as protect it

Cheers for the replies

Mine has two ropes, I tight the front one to the front wheel and the rear one to the rear wheel. In case of a strong wind I lift the bike from the sidestand and put the cover (as much of it as I can, folded many times) beneath it. Worked well so far but I do that part with side stand only when the wind is strong because it's probably doing no good to the cover tbh.
