How to soften leather gloves?

As the thread title says, is there any way of making leather gloves more pliable?

I have a pair of Held gloves I bought 2 years ago that I have't used much because they're aren't confortable in 35 degree weather (~100 in Fahrenheit).
I've taken them out today on a longish ride and their stiffness was interfering with the controls.

I used some nikwax leather conditioning stuff on my new gloves and it softened them up a bit.

My arlen ness gloves where a tight fit on the little finger - soaked in warm water while wearing them, fingers moving all the time, then lots of leather wax = success
Kangaroo leather working gloves that where hard after drying to fast while soaked - cleaned them with leather wipes from muc-off and lots of leather wax = success

Don't dry leather in a warm room, dries up and gets hard, once a year clean leather and use any leather care wax.

Leaving them in warm water for a while softens leather really well. Just don't think you can take a shortcut and use boiling water, because that will make them hard as rock instead...

Neatsfoot oil is the best, it's generally equestrian stuff, but...

It's for softening saddles and conditioning leather, so helps keep it in good nick.

As above then lots of use breaks them in.

truth be told, you get what you pay for, I'm only really fussy on my single skin summer gloves and go for goat leather palms normally, however having said that, as most have said various leather treatments do an admirable job, but it's the bees wax and linseed oil in them that has the effect, so you could just use that as it's normally far cheaper.

Cheers Mark.

Gliptone leather treatment is very good, I use on everything leather, sofa, tank cover, jacket, bottoms, gloves etc

I've used this stuff before after my gloves went crispy after getting a thorough soaking and then drying them out to quickly.

IIRC somebody on here recommended it to me, worked a treat on my gloves and I've always cleaned and then treated my leathers with it before hanging them up before winter.
