Find me a fun route
 

OMO recommend me a fun route from Leeds to Derby since I'm heading to Donington this weekend! :D

Originally planned to just blat down M1 and get it over with, but just wondering if anyone knew that part of the world well enough to recommend a more scenic / fun route which aint gonna take all day / add tooooo much extra time to the journey??

A6024 to Woodhead Res, -->
Cross a628 onto B6105 towards Glossop, -->
A57 from Glossop to Ladybower, -->
A6013 to A6187 to Hathersage -->
A6001 to Bakewell -->
A6 to Derby you can work it out from there.

Shouldnt take you much more than an hour 15 to get to Bakewell.

Google maps lies. Said 4 hours to Peaks from mine took 2 1/2

Google REALLY lies!
The brother in laws pub is 2min from Bakewell. It takes no more then 1.5hr to get there, knock some off that as you're on the bike and you get my 1hr15 estimate. Bakewell to Derby/Notts airport is nothing more than an hour I'd plan the whole thing your door to the track about 2hrs, 2.5 TOPS
