Hoggin' the bridge 2012

Anyone thinking of taking part this year? Never done it myself but looks like it could be an experience. They're expecting 3-4000 bikes on the day and the ride will culminate in chepstow, pretty much taking over the town by the looks of things!
Looking at the photos on the website it seems it's a mix of all types of bikes, not just toothless harley riders:)

See link below

This takes place on sunday 21st october, supporting meningitis UK amongst other charities. £5 donation gets you involved. Think I may give it a whirl...

Don't know what to expect from this really. Would be good to hear from anyone who's done this one before to help me decide whether to give it a swerve or if it's a laugh??

The guy who lives across the road from my parents does this every year with his wife on the back of his GSF1400

He has always said it is a good laugh and Chepstow isn't too bad. Lived there for 10 years

I know chepstow fairly well as my sister lives there. It's a nice little town but I imagine it's transformed somewhat during HTB. Her husband says it's a real spectacle to see so many bikes gathered like this. I was thinking it'd be cool to be involved in something like this even if it's just the once for the experience. The wife is keen too now she's dicovered pillion riding.
Reckon I'll just give it a go and see for myself, It's only a fiver.

A mate of mine done this last year I think. I say he did it, he was coming back from a ride, joined the motorway and just followed the crowd. He said it was a laugh.

I might be interested. Who else?

Just signed up. £5 for a headlight sticker to allow entry to aust services for the jump off.
If there's decent interest a posse of sv's would be kinda cool. Anyway I'm in.
