cb400 any good?
These any good? looking at a 2001 cb400 would be a winter hack and is £500 to insure with no ncb as that's used on the other bike

Re: cb400 any good?
gutless compared to the FZ1
Strong bikes, seem to do okay with winter. A friends NC31 superfour has held up quite well to her mileage and 2 year of abuse. Being pulled apart to my knowledge to sort it edit: I'm a tit and but the wrong model code |
Re: cb400 any good?
Lol obviously it's gutless vs the fz it's 100bhp less :p yeh this is a super 4 , looking at bandits and sv's as well as there around the same insurance bandit is a bit more , sv's are looking a bit expensive to buy , bandits are dirt cheep and I can do the work that's needed on them ect and the cb looks nice for the cash lol ps budget is about £500 for the bike

Re: cb400 any good?
Which NC model is that?

Re: cb400 any good?
You'll not get a CB400 for £500 thats running well
Try and get a bandit. How far you going? |

Leggy NVT650 maybe? Shaft drive and they go on forever just about. |
Re: cb400 any good?
Not sure what nc it's is , the only ones I can find are one bid maybe they will go for more than I think, I'm doing. 75miles a day ish

Re: cb400 any good?
75 miles a day don't get a revvy highly strung old thing.
Get a lazy old man bike, dullville, NTV, divvy/XJ900, BMW flying brick etc |
Re: cb400 any good?
Good shout on the xj9 just need to check insurance out

Re: cb400 any good?
I really like mine, for a big numb beast of burden you couldn't ask for better. Comfy, good presence, pulls from 20mph/1000rpm without a fuss, 60mpg, bombproof engine and final drive.
When this one dies I'm thinking a K100 to replace it. |
