Pointy won't start after standing 3 years.

Hi all

I have an SV 650 K4 naked that's been sat in the garage for 3 years.

Changed the battery, and it fires up (electrically) - it's got petrol in (old crap though)

Won't start though, starter motor turning the cylinders over but nowt except wonderful petrol vapour coming out the exhaust. Spark plugs maybe?

drain and replace old fuel, then clean of throttle bodies if still not co operative.

Take the plugs out and either change them or clean them up.They will be flooded with unburnt fuel even if they were ok before.
