Just wondering if you guys could tell me the average running temp on a sv650, mine tends to sit around 80 to90ish, normal?

mine will go up to 104 (fan kicks in at this point). 80-90 is normal when moving.

74-76c on the move. 90 odd in London traffic - I hate London traffic (k9 650)

Mine sits at about 83c at speed but soon creeps up towards 90 in traffic or when I stop at lights, I`ve only known the fan cut in when I`ve sat with the engine running, after a run, for a few mins.

Re: Pointy running temperature?

in American i see temperatures in the 185-189 range 220 is the hottest i have ever got it and i was starting to cringe. 215 is the hottest i have ever seen it with the fan running. I found the fan switches seam to take more heat to activate them as they get older.(experience is two thermostats and 53k miles on an sv) I wired in a fan override switch so i can manually turn it on whenever
