Twin Headlights not "E' marked

HI,

I am changing my stock headlight to a twin headlight. If the headlights aren't E marked does that mean they aren't legal to use on the roads? Im in the UK

Yes it does mean they do not meet the requirements and are for off-road use only.

No, you don't have to have an E marked headlamp and provided it passes the MOT beam test it is legal to use.

Well as long as the pattern on the beam meter is below the line with a kick on the n s Mr Mot man can't fail it if its white or yellow.
Look in the Mot manual.
Its on line
