Twin Headlights not "E' marked
HI,
I am changing my stock headlight to a twin headlight. If the headlights aren't E marked does that mean they aren't legal to use on the roads? Im in the UK |
Re: Twin Headlights not "E' marked
Yes it does mean they do not meet the requirements and are for off-road use only.

E Mark is what manufactures standards are needed to meet construction and use reg s.
Mot is beam pattern and performance.. |
Re: Twin Headlights not "E' marked
so as long as the beam pattern is okay i.e not flashing in people eyes it should be okay?

Re: Twin Headlights not "E' marked
Well as long as the pattern on the beam meter is below the line with a kick on the n s Mr Mot man can't fail it if its white or yellow.
