Nurburgring this weekend?
 
Track's open Friday afternoon, Saturday, Sunday, Monday so heading out and hoping for the odd dry window for a lap or two. Last weekend of the year for me.

Anyone else planning on being there?

looks like the weather held out. How's the R1 compared with the 750?

Definitely quicker out of Flugplatz and the run up Kesselchen. A bit of a bigger bike too, I used to prefer pushing the front on the 750 out of Pflantzgarten, but the R1 seems more composed in a number of places, also prefers to wheelie up Ex-Muhle and out of the cones.

I'm happier with the R1 since fitting a Sigma slipper clutch, gearing could do with lowering, perhaps this winter... I'd love to do a back to back comparison jumping from one to the other.
