6 R6's reving like crazy and noticed by cops
 

A couple of weeks ago I saw 6 guys on R6's pull up along side each other in front of a red light, and as they were switching to green they played a tune or two for the rest of us mortals. They just hadn't noticed the cops on the opposite site in the opposite lane across from them. As they took off the cops started up their sirens and drove after them, but what where they gonna stop them for?

Of course they had to tell them off, but what can they do? Can you get a fine for making too much noise (if the can is legal)?

i'd of thought it was some minor public disorder offence, although i'm hardly an expert. Assuming this was in a built up area, dont reallt get traffic lights on country lanes

Potentially a section 59 if they fail the attitude test & the police can't find anything on the bikes to fine them for.
