2011/12 ZX10 Shock
 

Anybody fitted one? I've been offered a cheap low mileage one but I cant find any specs for it anywhere. Can someone please point me in the right direction for them or give me their opinions on them if they have fitted one.

I have a 2010 ZX6R shock in a curvy.
Specs here for the 2008 model, I don't think there's any difference other than high & low speed compression damping (I have compared it to a 2005 shock and dimensionally it seems to be the same).

For me, it does feel sprung like a standard curvy shock, which it turns out is too stiff for me. Required a fair amount of battery box butchery, a Kawasaki lower shock bolt & nut, and a bit of tweaking of the left hand tab for the rider's seat mount which fouled the piggy back at full compression. For the pointy I'm simply not sure, but I suspect it'll be over-sprung unless you weigh a fair bit.

Cheers for the info. Im looking at a ZX10 shock though, not a ZX6. It will be going in a pointy K3 too.

if it is indeed a 2011/12 zx10 then its a completely different shock and has eyelets top and bottom. wont fit... never ever..

Does anyone know the length of the 2011/12 ZX6R rear shock? Think it should be the approx same to the 2006/7 I put on the SV last year.
