Simota Air filters?

Hi all,

Has anyone heard of these? They're aftermarket airfilters like K&N but only £17?

I got one for the Sprint a month ago, looks like a well put together piece of kit, in much nicer blue (when new :)) all for a couple of quid less.
No regrets so far.

Can't really help there as the OEM I took off was very clogged, so not representitive - I believe to the point of stalling the engine at tick over, even though I'd not reached service interval for the filter.
So the new filter certainly added a sparkle to performance :) but so would any clean filter.
I don't think there's significant gains in performance to be gained from just a filter change, and the noise seems very similar.
