My first bike
 

Hi guys and girls!

I have just brought a 09 plate restricted sv650s :D

Pick it up on the 5th of Jan (after it has had the restricter fitted)

CANT WAIT! Haha

My profile pic is me sat on it in the shop

My question is where is the best place in the Tamworth area to meet new bike mates? I don't know a soul who owns a bike... Sad ino...

Also has anyone any experience on the restricted SV? Your thoughts?

Very reliable, very easy to ride, you should have fun!

Make sure you get some crash bungs on that shiny 09 plate.

Welcome! It's a nice bike to ride restricted. You getting an ecu or washers? I'm sure there will be someone on here nearby.

Thanks! I sort of just left it with the guys at the garage to sort out as my knowledge is minimal. ECU rings a bell though

That's fecking beautiful. Mines a naked one and I'm restricted. Not had a chance to properly go out on it but from what I have ridden its an immense bike.. Have a look in the regional area on this forum for any nearby sv'ers

Cheers Lew, that was exactly what I thought when I walked into the shop! Saw it sparkling in the corner and had to buy it! I won't be able to compare it to anything as the only bike I've risen is a 125 which I rented to do my test on so I'll take your word for it :) no I havnt seen the regional area part of the site? I'll have a nosey now...

Welcome along. Very nice looking bike (for a pointy...:) ), especially with that stripe along the centre.

I'm currently riding my 125 atm, and my Sv is my first big un like yourself. Be interesting how this performs against my friends (all restricted) gs500 and bandit 600... Apparently I'm gunna smoke em off the line but we'll see.

Lew, I'm sure it'll be pokier than the gs and the bandit. From what I've read these sv's take to restriction very well?
