cheap good tyres?
 

Just been to look at a bike at padgetts in batley 01924 478491.

One thing he did mention when I was talking to him they have a race team and sell off metzler road tires (cant remember the model but they are some sort of all weather sporty ones lol) for 100 quid a pair with literally half a dozen laps on them.

No idea if its a good deal but had plenty of help and advice on here so thought I would share.

There has to be a reason why they're selling them. It could be as innocent as they use a set for practice and then put fresh ones on for the race, but 6 laps and then junk a tyre? Sounds fishy to me. They might be ok, but I suspect they've had more than 6 laps of wear.

Not really most scrubs have 3-4mm of tread still on them.

Use ebay. They're cheaper than that on there

Like I say, was just sharing :) he did say somat about practice. Was too busy thinkin pointy curvy pointy curvy lol but after test drive today have joined the dark IL4 side and subject to insurance the GSR 600 is looking like the bike for me...

Will still come to annual ride out tho :)

Use to sell mine for £50 I know Chrissy Rouse has some. If you want I can find out if he still has his for you. 180 rear 120 front. £70 I think.
