Which cleaning gear?

Suppppp

What would you guys say is the best, most comprehensive cleaning kit? I've seen one from Mucoff that's about £60. Doesn't seem to include a chain cleaner though!

Well not a conventional one like this anyway

Save your money, I use a two inch paint brush and some white spirits for cleaning chains.

I use zymol shampoo for washing and zymol carbon wax for protection.

Make your own kit up...

Castrol SDOC 100 or whatever it is, for general cleaning.
Old Toothbrush and Parafin for cleaning the chain.
Some car shampoo & a sponge and a bucket.
Tin of WD40 and some old rags.
Mr Sheene furniture polish for the your fairing.
Paddock stand if you dont have one is useful.

Bike will come up gleaming and you'll have saved a fortune over buying that Muc Off Kit.

as above make your own, all in one kits very rarely have any of the best products.

Fit a scottoiler, just turn it up a bit now and again :)

All depends on how clean you want to keep it, if you enjoy cleaning it and the time you want to spend. I've got plenty of cleaning kit, clay bar, quick detailer, lambs wool mit, grit guard, back to black, shampoo, bug/tar remover, carnauba wax, microfibre cleaning/washing/drying towels etc etc.

I use parafin on the chain, any really grimy bits get covered in Hein Gericke cleaner before I use Auto Glym shampoo and polish on the bike and fairing. I cut up any old clothes into rags and bought a pack of ten cheapy toothbrushes for all the nooks and crannies!

It's what you do before putting a diff back together innit.
