Gear lever moving when accelerating, and slow pick up?
 

Just a quick one, i have a 2004 z750, around 25000 miles and have recently noticed that if i rest my foot under the gear lever and accelerate it will push down on my foot? It does this in all gears and it also feels like it takes a while to pick up when i knock the throttle off and back on again as if the chain is really lose. However i have double checked it and its fine.

Any idea? Not sure if i'm just being paranoid or not?
