Main beam stuck on
 

Riding my 03 SV650s last weekend my main beam headlight seemed to come on of its own accord. It wouldn't turn off either!

I guess the switch has broken? Anyone else had this problem? Tips on how to fix it before I start taking my bike apart?

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but a quick search didn't turn up this exact problem.

Could be a short in the loom too. Try unplug the switchgear and see what happens before you take it to bits.

If could also be the pass button as well as the hi/lo switch.

Had a fiddle around today. Can't work out what is wrong with it! All fuses are ok. Tried unplugging a few random connectors, nothing happened.

Bike needs a service anyway so think I'll just let a pro deal with it.
