Re: Triumph Sprint GT test ride vid
I'm 6'2" and for both your reasons, screen and knees I still have the older 955i Sprint. Not a massive difference in performance but with a touring screen it eliminates both problems, knees and buffeting, also the seat is more like a big armchair.Considering I am over 65 I still have no problems doing 500mile days.
Hope you find the Tiger more to your liking ,not quite so much top speed so on fast cruising uses about 2-3 litres more per fuel tank range than my old Sprint Personally I like the 800 and have seen one with a proper screen fitted and the fella that had it reckoned it was pretty good at 80ish on the motorway for wind protection. |
Re: Triumph Sprint GT test ride vid
Glad to see someone else has lank issues. :) I'll do a Tiger review vid at some point. I have a test ride vid to edit together, but I'll do a proper review vid too once I've been in the saddle for a while and let you know how it really fairs. I must admit I did a good 90 (kmph obviously ahem) well testing it and found with the taller aftermarket screen on it wind protection was good. The demo bike I tested too had the normal screen and did have the buffeting effect too.
