Paintballing again - 3rd-5th May
 

Ey up folks,

I remember the last PM painballing day was a bit of a laugh so thought some of you might be interested in this.

Some of you met my mate Pantrasher/Jason on an .org rideout in Wales in about 2009 or so when he got bored of the rain and decided to get a lift home instead by having an argument with a lamp post and a stone wall... Anyway we got drunk last night and the result was deciding to go and do this.

Full weekend of paintballing.

Costs about £60 for a player ticket plus £25 kit hire.
-Entry
-2 nights camping
-Big game, full day of a job North vs South, massive
-Night ops hostage rescue scenario game
-UK vs the world scenario game
-Pistol games -slow firing, not much ammunition, should be a great laugh as it will level out the advantages of big firepower some people have (N.B this is an optional extra... the big game is done with tippman 99s or similar... nicer bits of kit than the ones used on previous PM paintballing trips.)
-CQB experience


Paint approx £30-40 depending what grade you get for box of 2000. Rock and roll :cool:
(MUCH cheaper than the normal group days out which last time were £6 or £7 per HUNDRED!)

Stuff that goes boom/splat/fizzle/pop also allowed... smokes... thunderflashes... paint grenades... all sorts.

They are expecting 1500 players to fire 12 million paintballs, played over 700 acres of military training ground, armored vehicle support, boats, the job lot! :)



So, full weekend of shooting Southerners, drinking and camping. Sounds a right laugh and it looks like me and Jason are going to book on it. Anyone else fancy it?

that sounds awesome!!!!!! is there an age restriction? my 15yr old brother would love to do it aswell

15 should be ok I think the usual limit is 12. However be on safe side and check.

In the 2011 game I THINK the £25 kit rental included 1000 paintballs. I'll check...


The usual half day or so of short games are usually £25 or something inc 100 balls and then you end up using 500 more at £7/100 and it costs a fortune. These big games look awesome value in comparison.

Yes, £25 kit hire includes 1000 balls and all kit needed.

Age limit, 12+ supervised by an adult.

Me and brother are well up for this! Except the camping part haha.
How do we go about booking it Chris? And what about food ect..

You soft tw*t.

Get onto that number above ASAP! There are some bunk rooms which they're just released 20 more tickets for since some team has cancelled. Rest of them are all booked up.
(£30 per person for Fri and Sat night)

Other option is local travellodge or something.



re food there will be plenty burger vans and suchlike.

Basically I'm going down in't van o doooom with Jason and another mate is meeting us there, so we'll probably go down Saturday dinner time or so, mess around Saturday afternoon, couple of pints, BBQ, then go get shot a lot on Sunday :)

It looks like we'd need to be there really early to get on the other extra games as they're sounding like they're really popular, and we've both got work on on the Friday.


Oh by the way we said we were not going to get carried away or owt. So obviously Jason has gone and sorted out enough firepower to start a medium sized war. :smt082 It's ok he's from up North :)
