Rant about tail tidy fitting.
Bought Evotech tail tidy for my SV, half way through fitting it.. . Deceivingly difficult to fit! Plus lost one bolt grrrrrrrrrrr

Re: Rant about tail tidy
I fancy getting one for the Gladius.
What's giving you so much grief (aside from chucking bolts around that is)? |
Re: Rant about tail tidy
just time consuming and having to take all the rear plastics off and get to tucked away bolts and grrrrrrrrr that dam bolt escaped my grasp somewhere in the garden, gone foreverrrrrrrrr . Gonna have to stop into the fixings shop tomorrow lol

Re: Rant about tail tidy
Did you get different indicators as well?
|
Re: Rant about tail tidy
Thought it was a good wee bit of kit myself. Bit fidley shifting the plastics but no biggie.
|
Re: Rant about tail tidy
yeah looks like awesome piece of kit . Nope I didn't get new indicators i think I'm just going to get some clear covers for my standards as i hear LED's arn't all that great

Re: Rant about tail tidy
Hmmmmm looks like I need to drill two extra holes in my number plate.. Does anyone know if a smaller number plate is legal?
|
Rant about tail tidy
Not legal as far as I'm aware, never been stopped for it myself but know people who have.
I have a tail tidy and have drilled two extra holes in the standard sized one which I use for mots and touring etc and it still looks fine |
Re: Rant about tail tidy fitting.
I am about to buy one next month, hope it will not be too complicated to fit :-)
|
Re: Rant about tail tidy fitting.
so I bought it and installed, anyone else figured out where to put the red reflector?
I too had to drill the plate, but otherwise it went fine (apart from one %!£%& screw...) |
