Sort your suspension once and for all with a proper shock!

Penske 8987 3-way (triple clicker) racing shock.

- just been fully refurbished by Yorkie Chris's Penske servicing to include:-
- new shims
- re-valved
- new oil
- re-gassed
- setup for the SV650
- #500 spring, suitable for a rider around 12-14st
- ready to fit and ride like a mutha funkster

£450 which is a little under what it's cost me and around half price of new.

Dribble.

Is that only suitable for a pointy?

Tentative dibs if it'll work on a curvy btw.

Not sure about it fitting a curvy, hopefully someone on here can confirm?

Might work if it's got a fair bit of height adjustment. At that money I don't want to bodge it though.

Waiting for a Yorkie Chris to come along. :)

PM'd you his number - best to speak to him direct.

Spoke to Chris. It can be done but needs a revalve, new spring and length extended with either another shaft or an extended clevis.

As it's just been serviced and set up for a pointy it doesn't look realistic for me to add more costly work.

So, I'm out. Over to you pointy types.

Lovely bit of kit wish I had the money!

Did you not just buy this recently?

Yep - however I then went and bought another one (don't ask!).
