Pointy comfort kit - longer cables?

I fitted my renthal bars to my matt yokes comfort kit yesterday, as the bike has had the yoke fitted with clippons since Ive had it.

It was quite comfy to ride and feels like a different bike, but how does everyone find the switch gear cables, should I be fitting ones off a naked pointy?

The S ones just don't seem long enough. My clutch cable and braided lines are the longer ones, but don't think my throttle cables are long enough either, so went back to clippons today as one full right lock they are a bit too tight.

I fitted some to mine and had to install longer throttle cables. Should get them off eBay cheap or put a post up here. Someone may have some spare

Fitted the kit to the wifes curvy and only got longer brake lines. Used original clutch and throttle cables just routed the throttle cables around the outside of the forks rather than through the middle of the forks.

I fitted some naked throttle cables to mine Lee, as the S ones were a bit too short to work with my vario bars

Did the same with the choke cable too.

But clutch and switchgear are fine, just a bit of re routing on the curvy

I`ll get some naked throttle cables then, as I cant even put the throttle tube to the end of the bars the cables are that tight.

Got longer HEL lines and longer clutch cable on already so half way there ;)

Lee not sure but from your info above it sounds like you may be trying to fit the throttle with the bars fitted? Like i say not sure if that is what you are doing but if it is they will not reach you need the bars loose out of the holders fit both sides of controls then fit bars to the yoke.

I got naked switchgear and cables when I did my conversion. People have however managed it by having the throttle cables exit out the right of the headstock instead of the standard left exit.

Means a tighter turn and I can't say if its ok or not but might be worth a shot,

I did wonder if theres room for the throttle cables to exit the right side of the frame, although if longer cables aren't too expensive, then Im happy to do that.

I noticed in the Haynes, the throttle cables on naked pointys sit differently to S models, one appears to be over the master cylinder, the other one under it.
