Crashed - fixer peg?

Sadly iv had my first incident, I dropped my beloved sv at a junction no damage other than iv snapped me gear peg. Now iv ordered ma new leaver but its goin to take weeks to deliver, my fault as I never checked deliver dates, anyways, was wonderin if anyone has baby ideas on gettin the bike on the road while I wait, iv seen fixer pegs online but again will have to pay out and wait for it to arrive, any suggestions ta.

Assuming all you have actually done is snap the toe contact off the lever, drill and tap the leaver and fit a 40mm long m6 allen head bolt through locked with a nut to clamp it tight. abit of rubber tubing to make it comfortable.

I have know people use this method for years without having to change the lever.

Or get a repair peg from the fixer peg site if you want it to look a bit fancier.

I used a m6 bolt until my fixer peg came, used it ever since.
