Braided oil lines - where from?
Ok I did search the forum for it but all the threads are quite old and the links and websites stated don't seem to work... So I'm after some braided lines for the oil cooler on my 05 650s. Anyone know where to get them? Or if anyone on here makes them up?
Cheers guys |
Re: Braided oil lines
I have some Goodridge ones that I've decided not to use as my current ones are in good condition. These are the first of type that Goodridge made for the SV (they borrowed my original ones to copy the lengths from).
They may also have listed them by now in any case but will have the drawings to these in any case. If you're interested drop me a PM. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5301/5...d7b79e674a.jpg SV_OP0 by MJC-DEV, on Flickr |
Re: Braided oil lines
I got them made up by a company called pirtek, just took the old ones along. The existing ones had split in a crash, they re-used the angled metal part and made everything else up on site.
When asked what pressure it had to take I wasn't sure (turns out it's about 30psi) but most braided stuff is rated for hundreds of psi, so we're deep into overkill bling here. Jambo Sent from my thingie |

Re: Braided oil lines - where from?
My local Pirtek made a price up at the time, this would have been about 6 years ago, so I'm afraid my memory's not all that reliable. I do remember hoping they'd be cheaper, maybe £50 the pair, sounds plausible when compared to brake lines.
