Bar End Turn Signals featuring Curvy SV

I'm normally skeptical of some Kickstarter projects but I like the look of this one. And it features a Curvy SV with see through Clutch/Engine Cover :)

They look good but the light seems harder to see than regular indicators. I could see them being fitted as 'extras' but I wouldn't use them to replace the ones I have.

They look like copies or clones of Oberon bar end incators.

Like Rich says I wouldn't have them to replace my indicators

They look nice but not really practical...too long and wouldnt stand up to an impact surely

totally agree... I don't think you can see them as easily as standard ones

I'm more inclined to take another opportunity to see the performance of the lights tested before writing them off. In parts the light does look a bit weak but in others it looks ok. The claim is they are designed as bar ends and, whilst I accept they'll never be as strong as solid bar ends, the claim made is that this will provide some crash protection. Obviously the only way to test these claims is to crash!

I suppose you're all right but there's a bunch of bling things people tend to buy for their bikes (Rim Tape???) so in my mind this is one of the better looking ones.

I think reflective rim tape can actually improve visibility of the bike after dark and costs next to nothing :-)

But it would be nice to see these indicators in real life. Might be a good idea after all.

To be fair, I bought some Respro adhesive diamond black sticker sheet and cut it to fit the indents in the panels where the bungs are. I think they can make a different if car headlights catch you from the side and any extra visibility in the dark can only be good right?

Check out the difference below where the 1st image has no flash and the 2nd does.
