How the heart reacts at 200mph

Though this might interest a few of you;

How does the human heart react to the most extreme forms of stress?
Using sports science technology, three very different riders at the International North West 200 motorbike festival, put this question to the test

I did this exact thing back in the early 90's when RD350LC racing!

Waiting for the start, on the line I was over 200 bpm with the anticipation, it didn't come down until bend 3 and then it would steady at about 190 for the rest of the race! that was back when I was in my 20's a fit! very interesting stuff that you need that kind of BPM mainly to feed the brain with oxygen.

It also explains why you're (I was) knackered after 10 laps! :-)
