xbox one at E3
Just when I thought the graphics couldnt get any better
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hub Not sure of the price but it is the future of gaming |
Re: xbox one at E3
It needs to connect to the internet every 24hrs...
It needs you to install every game to your HDD, and activate it online... It locks games to your account only so you can't sell/buy 2nd hand ones without paying a fee or waiting 30 days if you make them a MS Live friend... It needs to have Kinect connected at all times... It aims to be an broader "entertainment device" and not a high end games console... It will be 30%+ more expensive in Europe than in the States... Doesn't sound much like the future to me I'll be keeping my 360 for now... |
Re: xbox one at E3
£460 for the console
|
Re: xbox one at E3
the new slimmer 360 and 100+ new games looks like there may be some longevity in the old console for now
|
Re: xbox one at E3
It's a lot of money but I'll probably end up buying one no doubt.

Re: xbox one at E3
pc graphics are a match for it.
Steams cheaper for games . so my GOW 360 will still have pride of place in the lounge |
Re: xbox one at E3
It's a bloody stupid console. If Sony allow backward compatibility, continue their version of live and keep it free, allow the 2nd hand games market and make their price cheaper than the Xbox, the Xbox One will be an utter flop.

Re: xbox one at E3
Seen the presentations for both the X box and Playstation.
The home media centre thing seems less relevant than in the previous generation as nowadays everyone has a laptop they can connect to their TV. The graphics all look pretty but no real jump forward and the games don't seem to be very original. Maybe it's my old age. |

Just heard on news that ps4 will be £80 cheaper and won't have restrictions on
second hand games... |
