Re: 2004 Triumph Speed Four
Hi,
I'm just in the process of buying a speed four, after having decided I wanted something a bit different... I know there a fair few bits that CAN cause a problem, but do you have any advice as to what to look for when buying one? The one I've got in mind is a 2006 model with 21k miles, loads of history but no invoice for chain or sprocket, but it is being sold by a triumph dealer so must be in pretty good order.. Any help welcome, Thanks James |

Or check out this link, http://www.speedfour.org/index.php?o...d=15&Itemid=27 Shows most of the problems there as well. Also, check its been serviced at regular intervals! English bikes are high maintenance! Not like the jap bikes! Hope this helps James, If you'd rather save spending the money on getting the problems and niggles sorted, buy mine!!! :p |
