Broken Down.

Sat waiting for recovery, main fuse blown put the spare in with ignition off and that blew aright away.
Lose or shorted connection somewhere I suppose. :(

something so major would be easy to find; I would have thought?, still I guess it depends on what tools you have with you.

Hope you're sorted soon.

I've had that when the connector to the starter relay sheered.
Hope you get it sorted soon pal.

Re: Broken Down.

Loom under the seat had rubbed through and was arcing against the tank support.
Some insulation tape and a new fuse and I was sorted.

I didn't bother to investigate as I had already blown the spare fuse so even if I did locate the issue before the break down guy arrived there isn't much I would have been able to do.

Cheers guys.

The breakdown guys are great like that - it's better for their targets if they can get you mobile again instead of calling for recovery. The RAC guy spent 3 hours trying to get my 750 going in March last year. He said it was more worthwhile him spending that amount of time trying to get it going, than it was to just roll over and order in a loader.
