Michelin Pilot Power 2CT

These were on my bike (F800ST) when i bought it. So i don't know how long they have been on the bike or the tyre life so far. What i can comment on is how they perform. Amazing is the word.
I've been out in the dry, damp and full on raining and they have been great in all weathers. Brilliant amounts of grip & feedback. Fantastic tyre that inspires confidence in all weathers. They are also a very competitively priced tyre. I'm due to get the front one replaced shortly so will update as time goes on.

Cracking job on updating this there Job! Haha

Curious how you got on? I have been an avid Storm Ultra 2 man for quite a while but mot forces a quick change of boots and got offered a pair of pilot power 2 ct at a good price. Just wondering how they fair now you have had em a while, did you stick with them?

Think iirc he was gonna try the pilot power 3's next. Meant to be better wet & dry with longer life too...

Fantastic tyre. Don't think I will change from them TBH. Great price now too since an updated version has come out. I only got 6.5k out the rear (woops). Front is nearly 10K old.
Cannot beat them in wet or dry, stable, grippy, plenty of feedback and easy edge to edge action.

I was going to, however when I needed to replace the rear they had no stock and wouldn't arrive before my trip away, so I stuck with the 2CT

I can't compare the 2ct with the pp3's but I can say I'm mighty impressed with the pp3's so far. Got about 500miles on them and jeez they are like poo to a blanket in the dry. Not really tested out wet performance yet as I tend to jump in the car if it's grim out.

Cheers fellas, having seen Job on the trot I feel a bit better about the last minute decision based on what you have said!

its the first tyre I've ever had that you can literally ride to the edge and off it. I've had a few moments of leaning over that far!

Ok so picked up the bike just now with the new boots, I was still sceptical as I do love the storms but first impressions are VERY good!

Only a few miles back from the garage but the feel and turn in were great!

Hoping to get out for a bit on Sunday and scrub them in a bit so I will report back on my findings after that.

Cheers Job! :)
