Anyone interested in a Curvy needing TLC?

I've got a 2000 plate curvy in blue.
Currently needing a battery and brakes sorting to make it usable, been standing for 2 years. I'm tempted to get it up to scratch myself but I've been tempted since I left it standing so....
does anyone want it in current state £650?

I'll take pictures and post more details if anyone IS interested.

Ooh. I shouldn't. I musn't. I really can't.

Just looking at a few pics wouldn't do any harm though.

Is it naked or faired? Not that it matters of course, cause I'm not at all tempted. Ooh, I hope it's a naked. :)

Faired, I'll take some pictures tonight and try to highlight anything that'll need attention.

Here we go, I've tried to take pictures of the worst bits (I've just noticed I've missed the scraped section of the front fairing, you can JUST see it (black mark) on the last picture in the crook of the curve.

Sorry for the state of the yard but I wasn't expecting to need to take pictures so soon.

It'll need one of these (clutch cable adjuster)

The chain still moves so might recover with a good clean up

Can is a little damaged (not by me, was part of original reason for sale) but barely noticeable IMHO

Torque arm is corroded but only surface stuff

Sorry I got bored titling each picture, you can see what is in them and probably know better than me what is what.

Currently the rear and one of the front callipers is off and it rolls pretty well so with a service on the brakes it should be OK.

The right hand side has damage where it went down at slow speed on ice, scrape on the fairing, I've replaced the brake pedal that was broken, there is electrical tape around the indicator but it functions, the crash bung is scraped and there is a scrape/dent on the underside of the end can.

I could likely fix all these myself but I've just lost enthusiasm for biking at the moment and this doesn't deserve to sit unappreciated in my shed when someone could enjoy it and learn more about it as they fix it up.

I originally bought it as a spare as I was reliant on my bike so thought I'd have a backup and one that I could practise my mechanical skills on without fear of leaving myself bikeless for work. This never happened and it has just sat there, the mileage was around 20k, I'll stick it on a battery and double check if anyone is really concerned but its over 20 but under 30 and I'm pretty sure it was 20-22 but as I say if you are worried by that let me know and I'll get an accurate answer.

No, just unloved and under a cover for a year to eighteen months till I got a suitable sized shed, by then the damage was done :(

Hi any chance of selling the hugger on its own?

Hey don't be taking its prime selling point away ;-) I'll let you know if I end up parting it out but it isn't likely I'm afraid.
