K9 speedo drive fit K3?
 

so i've found a speedo drive on ebay for a pointy sk9 and i have a sk3 pointy, does anyone know if it'll fit? surely they havent changed the wheels since 03? any help is much appreciated

wont work. there are two clocks on the pointy SV one is the white faced one which and one is the black centre faced one. this dictates which drive you need as the pulses change from 4 on the earlier model to 8 on the later ones.

the magnet is the inner part of the speedo drive and is the part that gets broken due to ham fisted tyre changers.

when putting the wheel back on you MUST engage the tabs with the recesses in the front wheel hub or it results in broken magnet tabs.

i would guess it was the tyre fitter, it was working before he touched it
