New tyres for my SV650 Advice please

Cant make my mind up about what tyres to put on my bike, Pirelli Angel GT or bridge stone batlax 023 advice please, running mixed tyres at the moment that came already on the bike, Pirelli angel ST on the front and Bridgestone batlax 021 on the rear.
I use the bike for wet and dry runs to work.

Be ready for lots of different opinions !!!! Find the ones with the best price. Be it Avon Storms, Michelin PR2's (not 3's -they don't last-get ready for people to disagree), Pirelli Angel GT's (gonna fit these myself due to trying to get better mileage) or BT023's.

All of the current sports touring tyres are all excellent tyres, both in dry and wet. Just see your local fitters or go online and get the best price.

Might get a good deal on BT023 as the new T30 has replaced them (but very similar if not the same!)

I put BT023 on mine, had BT012s with the bike which were awful. The 23's transformed it and are brilliant the road and on the trackday I did. Very impressed (and if they are good enough for Ron Haslam School they'll do me fine)

What this man said!!!
How many miles you got out of the Diablo Stradas?

To add another option, Dunlop Roadsmarts 2- but you either get on with them or you don't!

With the wet good bit of it is in the head.

Just reading this thread as i need a new back tyre soon but not necessarily the front and was wondering is it worth keeping both tyres the same and also will the roads I ride on make much of a difference?
I ride on a mix of motorway and back roads and I heard this should determine what tyre i go for?

Some bikes are very sensitive to mixed tyres. I had a GSXR400 years ago which developed a really bad wobble at 90mph+. I took advice from someone that used to race 400's and he said fit a matching pair of tyres - solved the wobble and massively improved the handling. Not sure if this would apply for the SV though. I really like Continental Road Attack tyres. I had two rears and a front on the Hornet and found them brilliant for everything including track days.

I will have to check out the continentals, cheers for all the info!
I haven't noticed any steering issues or wobble yet so hopefully that wont develop as a result of different tyres.
