Facebook message problems...
 

I was on the phone to Dans sister about 20 minutes ago and facebook pinged through a message. I managed to read a line and know that it was about something very important but not from whom and it is quite a sensitive subject about an old friend that I found out passed away this morning.

I have updated my status to ask for it to be sent again but would rather not bother people by messaging directly.

Does anyone know if there is a way to either retrieve accidentally deleted facebook messages or find something on my HTC that was there but now isn't?

Sorry...old friend passed away in January...i just fund out this morning.

I'd suggest checking on a PC if you can or through the browser.

I get that sometimes with the phone app where stuff is delayed or vanishes for a bit.

Cheers spank. Got off phone about ten minutes after the message pinged through and looked on laptop and iPad but nothing yet. Maybe phone app has hidden it for a while.

You on android? Don't know if its the same layout as iOS Facebook but the message bubble head things sometimes hide on mine, if you click the message icon and go into another chat it sometimes then comes back.
