ZZR1100 opinions?

Quite tempted as I've been craving a bigger bike for a long time and I'm not too fussed about image - ZZR1100 fits the bill.

However, it would have to go for less than a grand for me to justify it (about wat I'd get for my curvy) and that's not likely looking at the completed listings.

Anyone had one?

Had a 600 (94 ) first .Loved it so "she" bought an 1100 .
The mrs would fall asleep on the back when we did long trips full GIVI rack 2 cases.
Relaxed fast tourer that had a turbo in there somewhere,
The 600 went round corners and changed lines quite easy,The 1100 didn't
It ate tyres and pads ,tbh i preferred the 600.

I had an 1100 L reg I think it was, biggest barge I've ridden, wicked quick but you do need to climb all over it to ride it quick in the twisties.

Brother in law had one, no where near enough brakes and suspension for the speed it would do but very relaxed, smooth ride. I would have thought you wouldn't have to pay much more than a grand if you buy at the end of the season.
