Delkevic 200mm on Pointy - legal?
just about to splash out on a Delkevic 200mm carbon, anyone got one on a blue pointy s I can have a peek at and is it legal or not I cant tell from the website!

Legal with the baffle in, sounds good, illegal with the baffle out, sounds brilliant. You do need to keep on top of them with regards to packing or the exhaust pulses destroy the carbon sleeve. Same happens to titanium ones if they are left too long between re-fills.

I had a carbon one up untill about 2 months back, and it was slowly blowing the can to bits.. looked nackered

I have a 225mm Delkevic on my curvey. A 200mm will be louder and mines most definitely not legal!

I've had carbon mufflers (Remus) on my RC-51 for 25,000 miles with no problems.
It's like Mr. wilson said. And keeping them well packed is good for performance too, as well as longevity. |

No BSAu stamp not strictly .
if its stamped "Not for Road use" your not allowed to file it off |
