Reccomend me a backpack with a breathable back portion

Im cycling to work with my new job and i could do with a bit of a bigger rucksack anyway, so im looking at getting one of these smaller hiking style ones that has a few inches of space so your back can breathe.

25L ish capacity i think.

Anyone got one thats any good they can vouch for etc? As with all camping type stuff if you want the good stuff you have to pay for it so i was hoping to see a few opinions before i splash out. cheersss

Admit it, you're planning on putting your pet in there aren't you?

tried/thought of a kriega one? they are expenisve, but they are designed for using on the bike and still great for cycling (have used mine for this too) and are utterly brilliant bits of kit, pretty much waterproof too.

Camelpak gets my vote, I use mine to commute on the push bike.
Dont worry about the maintenance of the water bladder, it is removable and has its own section separate to the main bag volume so for me that came out. My wallet and phone now travel in that compartment.
I cant complain about mine, it carries plenty! My lunch and clothes fit comfortably inside it along with keys wallet phone etc. Provided you can leave some items at work such as shoes then its more than adequate.

I got one of these years ago and still use it every day. I used it for commuting on the push iron for 2 years, still would if we had showers at work. It has two pads either side of your spine and air circulates between them. You'll still sweat where the pads sit, but I don't find it too hot to wear.

I use this bag for pretty much everything, commuting, taken it for weekends hiking, with all my and my missus' stuff for the weekend (when we go by train), it is always my carry on bag, as it has strengthening on the back portion, so i know my tablet/laptop won't be folded for me. It'll fit t-shirts and pants for a week, but if you are only carrying a laptop, you can pull the traps tight so it doesn't move around.

It has gotten a bit expensive now though. Was 55 when I got mine.
