Scooter exhaust question
 

Hi all bit of a strange question for an sv forum but here goes.
Will a 50cc exhaust do any harm if fitted to a 125cc ?
Will it still run as it should ?
My mother in law has bought a little scooter its a Sym fiddle 125 4 stroke problem is the exhaust is shot but I can only find 50cc exhausts hence the questions :D

Dont see why it would make any difference if its a 4 stroke, and the downpipes are the same diameter? The exhaust may change the tuning slightly but presumably not that much.

I feel putting a 50cc exhaust on a 125cc bike wouldn't be so great and I wouldn't trust it.

However a 125cc onto a 50cc wouldn't be so bad.

Change it over and see what it sounds like and see if it rides the same, if it does you are all good :)
