I'm going on Holiday!
 

I'm not one for the "status" posts on Facebook as it usually prompts the same old same old type responses so thought I'd come on here and boast to you lot, my extended motorcycle family.

I'M GOING ON MY JOLLY-DAYS IN ONE WEEK!!

For the first time since adulthood I'm going on a holiday that doesn't involve:
Working for "x" for a few weeks,
Caring for my Mum (Who has MS),
Doing Uni work,
Family commitment (weddings etc),
I wont be taking any Work work,
Nor Taking any Uni work or revision.

This is the first proper holiday I can recall. Zero commitments/obligations just 10 days in the sun with my wife and boy, oh and Tom (the great) & his misses are coming too.
My mum and her husband live in Fuerteventura so we're heading over there, hiring a private villa and surprising them with a visit from their only grandson. I cant wait! 10 days of mental shutdown. BRING IT ON!


So enough of my boasts whats about you guys, what jaunt/event/vacation are you looking forward to this summer. :smt023

I'll be booking a week all inclusive somewhere for in September, no set place as yet so as long as it's hot and sunny and has beer I'll be happy.

amsterdam in september for my 21st :) then skiing in switzerland december over christmas :)

Great stuff mate, no doubt the weather will turn to rain over here as soon as you take off. Hope you all have a great time.

We went years ago as a family holiday. Me and my mum fished while my dad and sister had a boat ride to tenerife to look at some weird caves etc. Well worth a visit apparently. :)
