DATATOOL System 3 - Sensitivity?
 

Hi,

My SV came with a DATATOOL system 3 alarm on it which is fine apart from the annoying thing going off on its own in the garage and when i park it at work!

It seems to be very sensitive to wind etc etc i think i breathed on it the other day and it went off !

Is there a way of adjusting the sensitivity of it so it doesnt go off as much???

It's worth getting a copy of the manual, I seem to remember there's a wire you can add or cut to increase or decrease sensitivity. There was also some suggestion that it might be more sensitive mounted on its edge than flat, but I may be thinking of a different model.

Haha glad I ain't the only one! Had a s3 on last bike and it would go off at a mouse fart.

If I remember correctly I think it does have adjustment for it as well as being able to modify what sensors work in full and passive mode.

I think the adjustments are made by turning the ignition on and off in certain combos, the manual tells you, but you need to have sight of the led so if you can't see it get a mate that you can trust with counting!

Also how you can disarm with out the fob in an emergency.
